CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Feb. 14, 2024 – Local community leaders recently gathered for a ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the opening of the Ann Arbor branch office of Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union (MSGCU). Located on West Stadium Boulevard, south of Liberty, the Ann Arbor branch office is MSGCU’s 21st location in Southeast Michigan. It is also the second serving Washtenaw County, joining its branch office in Saline.
“MSGCU welcomes all Michigan residents to join the credit union and is proud to be the financial champion for more than 145,000 members,” said Steve Brewer, MSGCU President/CEO. “We’re honored to serve the Ann Arbor area and grateful to our community partners for welcoming us to the city and joining us to celebrate our newest location.”
MSGCU’s event featured a ceremonial ribbon cutting and remarks from the following speakers:
MSGCU is a full-service financial institution, and the Ann Arbor branch office provides the credit union’s comprehensive suite of services and products to champion members and help them achieve their version of financial success. This includes personalized service tailored to member needs, market-leading rates for loans and deposits, low fees, and a Michigan-based call center. The credit union also offers a highly rated mobile app and access to nearly 30,000 fee-free ATMs nationwide. To enhance the neighborhoods it serves, MSGCU also provides scholarship and grant opportunities, free financial education, and more. The Ann Arbor location features a drive-thru ATM, as well as a walk-up ATM for serving the additional pedestrian traffic in this area.
The credit union is hosting a Grand Opening celebration at its Ann Arbor location until Saturday, February 17. Community members are invited to visit the branch for refreshments and friendly conversation, and can enter the Grand Opening raffle for a chance to win a $250 Zingerman’s gift card or a Solo Stove Bonfire 2.0.
