Tom S. | Call Center Representative
To me, being a Call Center Representative is the most interesting position in the credit union. You never know what the next call will be about or what life story the person on the phone will share with you. Every day is unique, fun, and full of surprises.
A day in my life:
My morning starts with a team meeting. Then throughout the day, I have a variety of interactions. Morning calls are always the best, and I especially love helping our elderly members. Most calls are great, and some can be a little more challenging. Team members are always available for support if needed. The afternoons seem to fly by!
Something that surprised me after I started working at MSGCU:
The members. All the members I have assisted have had positive things to say about the credit union. Members love to call into the Call Center.
How is MSGCU different than other financial institutions you've worked for?
I can work remotely on a hybrid schedule. Over the years, I have enjoyed work in the banking industry, but I have never had the opportunity to assist members from the comfort of my home.
Where I want to be in 5 years:
I’d either like to work in Commercial/Business Lending or in IT. I love computers.
