Milo Perreault Educator Advancement Scholarship

The Milo Perreault Educator Advancement Scholarship is named in honor of the late Milo J. Perreault, who served on the MSGCU Board of Directors for 24 years. His passion for education was demonstrated in his 40-year tenure at Fraser High School where he mentored countless students and became a pillar in the school community. Established in 2015 and renamed to honor Mr. Perreault in 2020, the Milo Perreault Educator Advancement Scholarship is designed for certified teachers and administrators to help cover the costs of continuing education while honoring a commitment to advancing their skills.

Recipients will be selected based on a number of criteria, including work history, outstanding achievements, an essay, and an administrator's letter of recommendation. Four (4) one-time $2,500 scholarships are offered.

MSGCU non-members are welcome to apply. Membership is required if selected as a scholarship recipient. You are eligible to become an MSGCU member if you reside, work, attend school, or worship in Michigan. Joining is easy! If you're 18 or over, simply join online.
